Subscriptions Policy

Important: By purchasing a subscription from Brighten Co, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms of this Subscriptions Policy in full. This policy forms a binding agreement between you and Brighten Co (Valykrie Ads LLC) at the time of purchase.

Subscriptions involve recurring charges. It is your responsibility to manage, modify, or cancel your subscription before the next renewal date to avoid being charged.

1. How Subscriptions Work

When you purchase a subscription from Brighten Co, you will receive repeat deliveries of the subscribed product(s) based on the subscription frequency and duration you select at checkout (e.g., monthly, every 2 months).

By subscribing, you explicitly authorize Brighten Co to charge your payment method on a recurring basis at the selected interval until the subscription is cancelled. Your payment details will be stored securely by our payment processor.

You will receive an email notification before each renewal charge. It is your responsibility to ensure your payment method remains valid and up to date. Failed payments may result in your subscription being paused or cancelled.

Subscription prices are subject to change. We will notify you of any price changes before they take effect. Continued use of the subscription after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new price.

2. Auto-Renewal

All Brighten Co subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each subscription term unless cancelled before the renewal date. By purchasing a subscription, you explicitly consent to this auto-renewal.

Auto-renewal charges will be made to the original payment method used at checkout. You will receive a reminder email prior to each renewal. If you do not wish to renew, you must cancel your subscription at least 24 hours before your next scheduled renewal date.

Charges made for a renewal period that has already commenced are non-refundable except at our sole discretion and in accordance with our Refund Policy.

3. How to Cancel or Modify Your Subscription

You may cancel, pause, or modify your subscription at any time using one of the following methods:

  • Email us at info@brightenco.store with your order number and a written cancellation request — cancellations must be received at least 24 hours before your next renewal date
  • Call us at +1 307-275-9379 during business hours

Your order confirmation emails also contain a link to your subscription management page. Cancellations requested through any method are only effective once confirmed by us in writing (email). Verbal requests are not binding.

Cancelling a subscription stops future renewals only. It does not retroactively refund any charges already processed. Any orders that have already been dispatched at the time of cancellation will be fulfilled and are non-cancellable.

4. Cancellation Deadline

To avoid being charged for an upcoming renewal, you must cancel your subscription at least 24 hours before your next scheduled billing date. Cancellation requests received after this cutoff will not take effect until the following billing cycle.

We are not responsible for renewal charges resulting from cancellation requests submitted after the 24-hour deadline. Refunds for late cancellations are evaluated on a case-by-case basis and are not guaranteed.

5. Subscription Refunds

Refunds for subscription charges are subject to our Refund Policy. The following specific rules apply to subscription orders:

  • Subscription renewals that have been processed and the order has shipped are not eligible for cancellation — only for a refund request within 30 days of delivery
  • Duplicate charges resulting from a technical error will be refunded in full
  • Refunds for subscription products are subject to the same 30-day delivery window as one-time purchases
  • We do not offer prorated refunds for unused subscription periods

6. Pre-Orders

When you purchase a pre-order from Brighten Co, you are placing an order for an out-of-stock or upcoming product not yet in our inventory. At checkout, we may:

  • Collect no payment at the time of order
  • Collect a partial deposit, with the remaining balance charged when the item ships
  • Store your payment method and charge the full amount when the item ships

The payment method provided at checkout will be charged automatically when the pre-ordered item becomes available and is ready to ship. You will be notified before this charge is made.

Pre-Order Cancellation

You may cancel a pre-order only if it has not yet been fulfilled. To request a pre-order cancellation, contact us at info@brightenco.store as soon as possible with your order number.

Once a pre-order has been fulfilled and dispatched, it cannot be cancelled. However, you may request a refund in accordance with our Refund Policy within 30 days of delivery.

Estimated pre-order ship dates are approximate and subject to change. Delays in pre-order fulfillment do not entitle the customer to a cancellation or refund beyond what is outlined in our Refund Policy.

7. Chargebacks on Subscription Orders

Filing a chargeback on a subscription charge without first contacting us constitutes a breach of this agreement. Brighten Co reserves the right to:

  • Submit evidence of the subscription agreement, auto-renewal consent, and this policy to the payment processor to dispute the chargeback
  • Immediately cancel your subscription and refuse future orders
  • Pursue recovery of any fees incurred as a result of a fraudulent chargeback

We strongly encourage customers to contact us before initiating any dispute. Most issues are resolved quickly via email.

8. Governing Law

This Subscriptions Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States. Any disputes arising under this policy shall be resolved in the courts of Wyoming, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in that venue.

If any provision of this policy is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
